Many of you are traveling across the globe to celebrate with us in Lithuania, so your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for.
Should you feel inclined to give something more, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would help us start our married life with an unforgettable adventure.
Questions and Answers
Language
While many people in Lithuania speak English, you may not be able to communicate with everyone. A few Lithuanian phrases might come in handy:
Labas (lah-bahs) – Hi
Ačiū (ah-choo) – Thank you
Iki (ee-kee) – Bye
Locals always appreciate even a small effort!
The wedding language will be primarily English.
Children
We love your little ones, but we have chosen to keep this celebration adults-only. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the evening fully.
However, we understand that this may not be possible for everyone. If attending without your child presents a challenge, please let us know — we are happy to find a solution together.
Emergency / Day-of Contact
We will update this section closer to the wedding date with a contact person for the day of the celebration.
On the wedding day itself, please reach out to this person rather than the bride and groom — we may be a little busy getting married 😊
Things to Do in Lithuania
If you are staying a little longer, we highly recommend exploring more of Lithuania. From charming old towns and peaceful lakes to beautiful coastline and forests, there is plenty to discover.
Let us know if you have time for travels! We will share some of our favorite places and recommendations here soon to help you make the most of your visit.
Lodging
Some of you — especially those traveling from abroad or without accommodation in Ukmerge — will have your wedding night covered by us. We truly wish we could host everyone, but unfortunately this is not possible for all guests. If accommodation has been arranged for you, we will contact you directly.
Weather & Dress Code
Lithuanian summer can be beautifully sunny, but also unpredictable — you may experience both warm sunshine and a slightly chilly evening.
Dress code: nicely dressed 😊
The celebration will include an evening concert, so we recommend comfortable shoes and bringing a jacket or light fleece for later in the evening.
Food & Drink
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions in your RSVP so we can accommodate you properly. We will share more details about the dinner options as we get closer to the wedding date.
As for cocktails… well, let’s just say there will be plenty to celebrate with 🍸✨
